Fees:

Bangalow Medical Centre is a private medical practice.

We appreciate many people find it difficult to pay medical bills. To enable fair access to our services we offer Bulk Billing to Children, Disability Support Pensioners and Aged Pensioners. Veteran's Affairs patients are also Bulk Billed.

We also offer a generous discount to Commonwealth Health Care Card Holders.

Our fee for a standard consultation is $ 45. ( $43 for concession card holders).

The current Medicare rebate is $32.10, hence after Medicare you will be out of pocket around $12.

Longer consultations have a higher fee, however, after Medicare, the "out of pocket" expense is still around $ 12.

Most procedures are Bulk Billed, however there may be a charge for some minor surgical procedures such as removal of some skin lesions.

General skin cancer checks are billed in the same way as regular consulatations. Mole scanning services attract a gap fee of $45.

A valid Medicare card or other Concession Card is to be shown on the day of consultation to access discounted fees.

All fees are to be paid at the time of consultation by cash, EFTPOS, Credit Card or cheque.
